we had a sort of gathering today. one after sooo long. not everyone cld turn up though which is a shame. the venue: sakura international buffet at orchard shopping centre.  we didn't make any reservations so it was a good thing that fau n i came early (ok actually everyone including me was late. ^^; we're supposed to meet at 1150am but i was there at 12nn n nobody was ard.).

anyway, sue came with aida (tis cutie pie aka her daughter of 1 yr... gg to b on 18th jan), adha with her huge shades, ayu with a helper n her lil prince, raqkin (i hope i got tat correct). zak was supposed to turn up (we chose that date coz she requested it to be today) but we cldnt get her. there was the usual updates n stuffs. i totally love that cutie pie aida. she is sooo cute! haha... n smiley n talkative n all sorts of cute stuffs. hee... raqkin is hensem. he's kinda into licking everything. must be at the oral stage of developmt according to freud. ah well... makes him pretty adorable. ;)


ayu's lil prince

after maghrib zak called. apparently she cldnt make it coz her hp got stolen. she was at her pl n a kid wanted to borrow the hp to make a call. she, being the kind soul that she is, lent the kid her hp. next thing she knew, the kid ran off with her hp. darn! no wonder we cldnt get thru to her. insyaallah will meet her nxt time.

zakiyah invited us to her home today n so we went... some of us did. it was great seeing them all. zak just came back from medan with her hubby n she said the belawan people sent their regards. suhanah's 7 months pregnant n is due in late jan 07. =)
wished that everyone had turned up but ah well... next week is ayu's open house. so should be meeting them again. yeah!

one by one the ABianz seem to embark into another chapter of their life. today is ayu's turn to be married. actually her solemnization ceremony was held some time back. today is just the persandingan. she looked different (as all brides are said to look). anyway, not everyone was able to make it. we didn't go at the same timings either. tuty came real early coz she had a bbq after that. diana came at about 2pm. ili, fau n i went together at ard 5+pm. fana n zak were supposed to join us but fana had sumthing on wif her mom n zak not feelin well. suhana came after we left so didnt get to meet her either. the rest had other commitments so they didnt go.

anyway, congratulations ayu! may you be blessed with a blissful marriage that last a lifetime.

yesterday the ABianz had a dinner gathering at swensen's; suntec outlet. almost everyone turned up (ili cldn't coz she had some family thing, qw, sw n dan had to work). it was great to sit there, talk, laugh... and of coz eat! hehe...

tuty came very early... with her guy. zak came with her bestfriend n sue wiith her hubby. aziz n wan were super comical. they keep making jokes n making me laugh.

the table setting was such that we sat in a longish fashion (as if in a castle) so i don't really know what happened at the other end of the table. i suppose they were talking about ayu's coming wedding. yup yup! so we're going to meet again at ayu's wedding. lemme see... i think she's the third to get married. three down, ten more to go! haha...

another ABianz is now married! CONGRATULATIONS suhanah! may you be blessed with a happy and blissful marriage with ridwan. =) too bad not the whole team could make it. nonetheless, they did wish you the best and send their regards.

we had a gathering juz now at fish n co bugis. it was to mark our one year anniversary. the response was good... but last minute only 6 of us made it. that's half strength... not too bad i guess. plus two frenz of ABians makes 8 ppl for dinner. ili, su, adha, zak, danial & i had a good 1 1/2 hr of dinner. they even gave me a surprise by telling the fish n co staffs tat it was my bday. i had to stand up while they chant a bday rap for me. haha... funny. but i got free ice cream! ;)

however, the nite didn't end too well. adha suddenly collapsed while we were walking towards the undergrd mrt. it was juz outside ajisen. her head was throbbing and she was shivering. she didn't recover like she always did after a few minutes so we decided to call an ambulance. i followed her in d amb to sgh. hope she's feeling better n gets well soon. everyone's worried abt u gal... do get well soon k.

it's official!
zak is getting married. she's getting married real soon. next month actually. september. keep that in your diaries/schedules ok AB-ians? it'll b on 11th sept 2005. hey! 9-11! woohoo! wat a date to choose. easy to remember! haha... anyway yeah. hope to see you peepz there. yours truly is gonna be taking photos so dress your best! And oh yeah zak: CONGRATULATIONS!

guess everyone's sad. guess everyone's trying to come to terms with his death. it is shocking. it must be more shocking for adha and fana who juz went there last month and got to see him... for the last time.

we have to move on. we have to be strong. he wouldn't want us to be sad. he wouldn't want us to dwell in sorrow. so we have to carry on with life, it's only fair for him and for us all to do juz tat.

anyway, he passed away due to several complications. he had lung and liver infection, TB and typhoid fever. maybe it's for the best. at least he's not suffering no more. may his soul rest in peace.

gosh! wat a way to start the day. received news fr fau that abg reza passed away. abt 10mins later, rcvd another sms from andi saying the same thing. he said tat abg reza has passed away last nite at about 10pm. they never mentioned the cause of death.

abg reza... the quiet guy who always sits in one corner or in front of the tv. the guy who always seem to have something to say to us ABians but never seem to find the words to say them. the guy who sings along to all the siti nuhaliza songs when it played on tv. the guy who's very passionate about puisi... he even performed one during the cultural interaction. he's only in his mid-30s. so i wonder what the cause of death is.

wateva it is, i pray to Allah tat his soul be among the people He loves and redha. and i pray that the family will stay strong and not dwell in sorrow.
